John McCain Hopes The One Dollar Coin Will Lead to Larger Tips For Strippers

Honestly, I couldn’t make this stuff up if I tried.

If the Currency Optimization, Innovation, And National Savings Act (COINS) is passed, Federal Reserve banks would be required to cease circulation of the dollar bill within five years. In its place, the one dollar coin would be used. This change could allow for billions in savings from printing costs. Before you panic, the COINS Act has been put forward several times in the past, and failed each time.

When Senator John McCain, a cosponsor of the COINS Act was asked for comment on how passage of this Act would effect the erotic dancing industry, he had much to say. “Then I hope that they could obtain larger denominations,” McCain is quoted as saying. As he walked away, McCain shouted  “Fives, tens, one hundreds!” with a smile on his face.

Stay classy…

  1. Just when you think you’ve heard it all a U.S. senator suggests strippers can make more money with introduction of $1 coin how ridiculous. Is that John McCain main concern strippers making more money; it is always smart to base decisions about your currency around the needs of strippers especially since the secret service doesn’t pay. First off this act would not affect the erotic dancing industry in the United States; in Canada we also don’t use two dollar bills anymore. We do have two dollars coins, called Toonies and one dollar coin called a Looney. The club will sell you fake play money or pre-buy ‘stripper bucks’ usually at the bar, or the waitress. You buy like $20 or whatever, (so you would have 20 $1stirpper bucks) then you give them to the stripper, which you can use to tip the dancers. And the dancer’s then get this back in real money from the club. The other option is that you start at $5 and for a lap dance you pay them in real folding money.
