A Sad Sight
The useful lives of all warships inevitably come to an end. For the US, the retirement of USS Enterprise was a tearful moment. In the UK, retirement of HMS Ark Royal was felt much the same way. HMS Ark Royal, a proud ship with a proud name, is now being broken apart. Its a sad sight to see her picked over. Its unfortunate Ark Royal couldn’t be converted into a museum, so future generations could be inspired.
